Week in Review - April 3, 2014

I had fun on April Fools' Day. I had planned and had lots of fun food to serve the kids.

What did we do this week? That is always a good question for the end of the week. In some ways it was school as usual but then it was also a week of flex.

We are working on our Ancient Greece and Greek Myths pockets. We are enjoying this as it gives a bit of hands on activities.

We ended up having meetings later in the week in the morning. My preference is afternoon meetings but that doesn't always happen so we flex.

On Friday we met a supporter for breakfast at The Original Pancake House. Miss K ordered chocolate chip pancakes and thought of Grandma. Grandma makes pancakes often when we are visiting. Kids eat free on weekdays.

Friday evening we went to a concert by Heavenly Melody from Taiwan. We were glad to see Doris again. It was about 8 years ago that we saw her last.

We are slowly packing. Some slower than others.  Our passports are at the consulate waiting for the visa.

That wraps up our week here.

  1. We are studying Greek myths, although we are doing our own thing with them. Chocolate Chip pancakes sounds so good.
